In-Step: Walking with God's People through Difficulty

Weekend Seminar up to 10 students @ $500/seminar (Church provides printing of workbooks & lunch on Saturday)

This seminar is designed to help gifted lay people to become pastoral care helpers with confidence to minister to those in difficulty, struggle, anguish, or grief. The instruction includes a model of helping that covers most of life’s heartache and misery, leading people out of darkness to the Light of Jesus. Included is recognition of when to refer to professional help and what to do when facing such things as abuse and suicide.

Marriage Assessments

  • Recommended for all staff and leadership

  • Assessment includes: Overview, Communication, Conflict Management, Shared Meaning, and Romance. A Score Card is given to the couple and pastor designated to staff evaluation.
